Riverbend Golf Club is the Central Valley's premier semi private daily fee golf course, and was recently voted by Fresno Bee readers as the Valley's favorite golf facility three years running. Riverbend is a signature course designed by preeminent golf course architect Gary Roger Baird, and is located minutes north of Fresno in a unique natural setting along the banks of the San Joaquin River. Since it's opening in March 1999, the course's routing brilliantly balances its links style with beautiful valley oaks, strategically placed water features, abundant sand traps and waste areas, pristine habitat and scenic views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

As host to many nationally recognized events, Riverbend Golf Club has been the site of amateur and professional tournaments which include the 2004 United States Amateur Local Qualifying and the upcoming 2006 United States Open Local Qualifying. Riverbend Golf Club is also home to the annual Save Mart Shootout, a professional exhibition for charity hosted by Peter Jacobsen Productions. Notable players from the PGA and LPGA such as Arnold Palmer, Peter Jacobsen, David Duval, Craig Stadler, Fred Couples, Chichi Rodriques, John Daly, Nancy Lopez, Michelle McGann, Julie Inkster, Laura Diaz, Suzie Whaly, Angela Stanford and Nicole Perrot have helped successfully raise money for Save Mart Shootout charities.

Recognized as the first Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary in the Central San Joaquin Valley, Riverbend Golf Club has designated over 100 acres of natural wildlife area within the course layout. The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System for Golf Courses, endorsed by the United States Golf Association, provides information and guidance to help golf courses preserve and enhance wildlife habitat, and protect natural resources. Golf courses from the United States, Australia, Canada, Central America, Europe, and Southeast Asia have also achieved certification in the program.

Please take note that the Dress Code is strictly enforced. Collared shirts and soft spikes are required. No denim or jeans of any kind are permitted. There are no exceptions to this policy.
