Golf Lesson Programs: |
I have been a golfer for more than 55 years and have been teaching for over 30 years. From age 16, I played amateur and professional tournaments including: medalist qualifier US Senior Open, Trans America, tied for first Hayward City, won Livermore City, runner-up Masters in Butte County, Semi-finalist twice at NCGA Nor Cal, along with many other top finishes over my 55 years of playing golf.
I was recruited to Riverbend Golf Club before it opened (over 10 years ago) to be the Head Teaching Professional and gave input to the designing of the practice facility. Before Riverbend Golf Club, I was Head Instructor at Riverside Golf Course (Fresno) for 8 years. Prior to my position at Riverside GC, I taught at Pleasant Hills Golf Course in San Jose.
Men, women and children of all ages have benefited from my instruction because of my understanding that all people do not swing the same. Even the professionals on tour have unique swings; not everyone swings like Tiger.
I teach the proper grip, stance, set-up, posture, and pre-shot routine. From me you will learn how to practice putting, chipping, and sand-shots to give your game the edge it needs.
